Complete disappointment

It is obvious that I am not a target audience of this book, as it was a complete disappointment. It is written form a consultant point of view (no wonder - the guy IS a consultant), and more seems to be a "how to become a successful consultant" manual than an actual tool for the managers to get to know their operations.
It you need an hands-on practical manual on operations review - it is probably wrong choice.

I'm new to the operational reviewer field. I am taking classes to become a Certified Internal Auditor and this book was required for one of my classes. After the first few chapters, I think the book is very well organized and grounded as a framework for a operational reviewer career.
